Distinguished Professor Malinski inducted as National Academy of Inventors Fellow
Ohio University Distinguished Professor of Biochemistry Tadeusz Malinski, Ph.D., was inducted into the National Academy of Inventors (NAI) during its 2021 Fellows Induction Ceremony at its annual meeting in Tampa, Florida.
The NAI Fellows Program highlights academic inventors who have demonstrated a spirit of innovation in creating or facilitating outstanding inventions that have made a tangible impact on quality of life, economic development and the welfare of society. Election to NAI Fellow is the highest professional distinction accorded solely to academic inventors. To date, NAI Fellows hold more than 42,700 issued U.S. patents, which have generated over 13,000 licensed technologies and companies, and created more than 36 million jobs. In addition, over $2.2 trillion in revenue has been generated based on NAI Fellow discoveries.

About the International Conference «SUSTAINABILITY AND LEGACY IN SPORT: CHALLENGES AND PERSPECTIVES»
On 21–22 November 2018 in Кyiv (Ukraine) a lot of experts from 21 countries and 11 Ukrainian universities were share their achievements in fundamental and applied scientific researches with colleagues on the International Conference «SUSTAINABILITY AND LEGACY IN SPORT: CHALLENGES AND PERSPECTIVES». This forum hold under Patronage of International Association of Sport Kinetics International Association of Universities on Physical Culture and Sport.
The Conference program included not only various aspects of sports orientation. But it also highlighted the role of motor activity and other forms of physical education as a crucial factor in strengthening the health of young people, as well as the Olympic education issuedas a vector of value orientations for the younger generation, which were important in the process of the healthy lifestyle formation and promotion.

Poreč (Zelena Laguna) is a town located in the heart of the western coast of Istria (Adriatic coast). The conference programme shall include oral and poster presentations and lectures. Invited lectures and other presentations shall be given by internationally recognized speakers and researchers.

Conference "Applicable research in wrestling"
International scientific and professional conference entitled "Applicable research in wrestling" was held from 5th to 7th May 2017and it was organized by the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Zagreb and the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education, University of Novi Sad and under the auspices of the International Network of Wrestling Researchers (INWR), the United World Wrestling (UWW) and the International Association of Sport Kinetics (IASK). The conference was held at the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education in Novi Sad and gathered more than hundred researchers, wrestling coaches and students from all over the world. Young scientists were awarded for best scientific works; Cristina Casals (Spain) won first place, Dragana Zanini (Serbia) won second place and third place was taken by Daichi Yamashita (Japan).

Based on the success of the IOC World Conference on Prevention of Injury and Illness in Sport in Monaco in April 2014, where more than 1,000 delegates from around the world gathered to present and discuss new scientific results and implementation strategies to best prevent injuries and illnesses in sport, the IOC has decided to organise the next edition in Monaco in March 2017.

Starosta Presented with Academy’s Distinguished Service Award
Dr. Wlodzimierz Starosta was presented with the United States Sports Academy’s Distinguished Service Award over the weekend in conjunction with the International Association of Sport Kinetics cyclical international conference, “Sport Kinetics 2015.”
The Award was presented to Dr. Starosta by the vice-rector of Józef Piłsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw, Dr. Jerzy Sadowski and General Secretary of International Association of Sport Kinetics, Dr. Jan Konarski.
The DSA is given annually to those individuals who have made outstanding contributions to national or international sport through education, research or service. The DSA is separate from the Academy’s Awards of Sport. Each nominee must possess an extensive background in sport, which means that the individual must have had significant dealings in instruction, research or service in sport for more than 10 years.
